Christmas Day Lunch 2012

by Peachy on December 30, 2012

in Christmas, lunch

Last year’s theme was RED. This year, everybody wore Blue.

Nope, we didn’t have a blue Christmas. On the contrary, it was one of the best Christmases EVER! Setting the fact aside that again we weren’t able to celebrate it with my dear peanutbutter. {insert long sigh here}

Just like our Christmas Eve dinner, sis and I prepared almost everything for our lunch except for a few dessert…

Without further ado, here’s our Christmas Day spread…

Seafood Kare-Kare

Beef Caldereta

Rellenong Bangus {Stuffed Milkfish}

Java Rice

We had a slightly bigger Lechon than last year. Everybody was happy with just the skin…heehee..

Pancit Malabon made by Tita Eva

Crabs in Coconut Milk

Beef Morcon

Fresh Lumpia wrapped in Rice Paper

Macaroni Salad with Dried Cranberries

And we have a dessert table!

Our drink is Calamansi Juice with Strawberries. The Calamansi we used is the concentrate you can buy at the grocery.

Choc-nut Walnut Bars

Bizu  Macaron de Paris Pyramid from our cousin,Rome.

Mango Pandan Salad {recipe here}

Double Dutch Cake

As with every Christmas day…. ours ended with a wacky family shot! Check out more of our family photos here.

    Haaay, Peach. My Christmas was actually spent travelling. It was long and exhausting. Mas masaya talaga ang Pasko sa Pinas. Lalo na kung ganyan ang handa hehe… at shempre ang lechon!
