Santa Claus – Themed Noche Buena 2012

Santa Claus- Themed Noche Buena

Let me start off my Noche Buena post with the wackiest photo I could find. Yes, this is quite embarrassing but what-the-hey…this should be fun. Sis and I prepared everything on the Christmas table. We worked on a Santa Claus theme which I think we got somehow.

Let me start with our Homemade Pineapple Glazed Ham. The recipe is quite the same as my mom’s version which I posted last 2009 with just minor tweakings like the addition of cloves and removal of the brown sugar. {recipe will be posted in a few days}

There’s some Hotdog Christmas Stockings {recipe here} which turned out to be the table centerpiece along with…

I also made some Steak Skewers which were actually the first to go because it was soooo good. I’ll be posting the recipe shortly.

Baked some Peanutbutter Reindeer Cookies with Chocolate Pudding Dip. {recipe here}

I loved this Brioche Bordelaise which we bought from French Baker the day before. It’s like a combination of monkey bread and fruit cake…lightly sweet and fruity because it’s filled with raisins, cherries and candied orange peels.

Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Cream Cheese is one of the finger food that I loved most. Sis made it with lean bacon this time and it didn’t taste as delicious. I still prefer bacon with full on fat!

Sliced Queso de Bola..yummm!!!

Last but not the least, we also had Chinese Bone-In Ham which was given to my brother and we dressed up for the occasion.

This is my plate with a cup of Hot Tsoko-Mani filled to the brim with mini-marshmallows!

Santa Claus- Themed Noche Buena

It was such a fun night even though Kuya Noel slept early and his daughters Cyra and Cyvrine wasn’t able to join us because the Grinch fetched them earlier.

There were lots of photos and wacky shots!

In between shots, Ykaie kept on asking me if she can already open some of her gifts. She’s very excited to see what’s inside. She knew there’s some really cool toys inside those Christmas wrappers. I wished mine has michael kors watches inside…

Another wacky shot….

Outside, wearing the flashing necklace we bought from divisoria for 20 each.
