I jumped and joined the bandwagon and bought myself four jars of Cookie Butter.
Actually, I jumped and joined four weeks ago but kept it to myself as I want to thoroughly enjoy feasting in one bottle of the Crunchy Cookie Butter. My cookie-butter-on-wheat-toast- gormandizing days has come to a leisurely phase and it’s about time I post what I think about it.
But I guess you already know that.. — I L♥VE SPECULOOS COOKIE BUTTER!
First off, just to let you know, I had no idea what this cookie butter craze was all about. They just said that there’s this spread that is supposed to be made of cookies and it’s soooo good, you won’t stop eating it until only the jar’s left.
Okay.

So I looked it up on the net and saw what was written on the bottom of the jar. Three words caught my attention: delicious, unusual, gingerbread. Alright Trader Joe’s, you got me. I am so into trying out new stuff and I’m more eager to try it when it’s unusual.
Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookie Butter is creamy and smooth. It’s supposed to be made of crushed cookies but it’s so smooth there’s no hint of cookie in any part of the jar. It tastes highly of gingerbread… smooth, silky gingerbread.

I spread it on wheat toast. I topped it with sliced strawberries or sometimes sliced bananas. I eat it off a spoon while watching a movie.
Oh gosh.
It’s so darn good, it put me off my Nutella phase.

You see, I love Gingerbread cookies. And if you’re like me, then I’m sure you’ll love this too.

Oh BTW, there’s also a crunchy version and the crunchy version has crunchy cookie bits which makes it more fun to eat.
