Le Petit Souffle

Le Petit Souffle

Le Petit Souffle is one of the restaurants in my list of restaurants to try but since Century City Mall is a bit far from home and life has gotten too busy with the arrival of Twinkle, my list has taken a back seat and I sort of forgot about my list. Good thing that’s where the launch of the new and improved Cebuana Lhuillier website was held last month because I was finally able to try it.

We had Kinoko Frites (₱235) for appetizer which  are deep Fried Enoki and Oyster Mushrooms tossed in matcha salt and served with tonkotsu mayo. It was a bit salty for my taste but it was flavorsome. The tokotsu mayo was equally tasty.

The Croque Madame (₱395) was exceptional! Freshly baked croissant with a thick slice of Black Forest Ham topped with sunny side up egg,  bechamel sauce and gratinated raclette. It was served with some greens on the side drizzled with a lemony dressing.

Spaghetti Carbonara was also served but we had it wrapped to go because we were already full and of course, we had to save space for the desserts to come.

Le Petit Souffle

I ordered this Cold Matcha Latte with Matcha Softee (₱170) to drink and it was a dessert in itself because of the matcha softee.

The Valrhona Grand Crus (₱375) is lve! Do not forget to order this when you’re at Le Petite Souffle. It has layers of Valrhona Chocolate (Araguani 72% flourless  cake, caramelia 36% flourless cake, Dulcey 32% ganache, Equatoriale 55% ganache) and served with vanilla creme anglaise sauce. Its decadence is truly a treat to your tastebuds.

The Salted Egg Caramel Parfait (₱ 195) has vanilla custard base softee with salted egg custard, caramel sauce, peanut brittle, and almond dacquoise, chocolate pretzel sticks. I didn’t know salted egg and caramel would be so good together.

Oh and since the ambience at Le Petite Souffle is cozy and homey, we, the Kumare Bloggers, couldn’t help ourselves but have a photo opp!

Le Petite Souffle is located at 3/F Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City
