This Finger Chili, Ham and Cheese spring roll became one of the pulutans last saturday during “Chika Night” [girltalk night] with my cousins. Pulutan here would mean finger food to accompany beer or liquors.This is very easy to do and would also make a good appetizer.
The dipping sauce is Honey-Mustard Sauce.
Finger Chili [Siling Haba], seeds removed and sliced lengthwise into two
Cheese, sliced into long strips
Ham, sliced into long strips
small lumpia wrapper
Oil for frying
♥for the honey-mustard sauce:
2 tbsp Mustard
2 tbsp Mayo
2 tbsp Honey
- Just place a piece of chili, cheese, ham and then another chili on a piece of lumpia wrapper.
- Fold the left and right part of the wrapper towards the center and roll it up.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
- For the honey-mustard sauce: combine equal parts of the three ingredients and mix well. You can also increase the amount of each ingredient depending on your taste.
