Kirin Chinese Dining

Roman treated us for dinner last Sunday. It was his twenty-uhrm-th birthday… He treated us at Kirin Chinese Dining, one of the known Chinese restaurant in the Serendra and Bonifacio High Street area.

I love the ambience at Kirin specially this glass wall with water continuously flowing in it.

Most of the patrons I saw inside the restaurant are traditional chinese families.

We had Shanghai Rolls for starters and it wasn’t that tasty.Just the usual Shanghai Rolls,nothing to rave about.

Hot Prawn and Chicken Salad [P300/$6.60]

I’m curious as to how the taste of this salad because I always see my friend Rizza order it whnenever they eat at a Chinese Restaurant. It actually tastes great, the problem is that after eating lots of it, you get overwhelmed on the richness of the dish. Those are fried battered pieces of shrimp and chicken, mixed with mayo and fruits.

Braised Pork Knuckles[I think this is around P800/$17]

This is what the Birthday celebrant wants for his birthday. He said he wanted to try this for the longest time. It’s really a big serving for the five of us: Roman, Kakay, Sis, Ykaie and me. I did like the taste but I wouldn’t order it for myself.

It was a lot of fun. The dinner was nice. We were full. There was coffee and running and more photo opps after. We gave Roman some foodie gifts which I hope he liked. In addition to my foodie gift, I promise to sponsor his new domain and webhost service. he is planning to have his own food blog soon. I would need to check out some web hosting news and find out the best web host.
