I just posted the 2014 New Year’s Resolution for Our Marriage, now, I’m ready to move on to one of my New Year’s Resolution which is adding fresh, natural and nutritious Juice into our diet! I’ve been hearing a lot about the many health benefits of Juicing and I’ve seen some of my friends jump into the bandwagon. It’s about time I give it a try.

But first things first, let me unbox my Breville Juice Fountain Max!

Breville Juice Fountain Max is the official juicer used by Joe Cross on his 60 day journey throughout the United States in Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.

The Breville Juice Fountain Max features an extra wide 84mm feed chute for whole fruit and vegetables, ultra sharp titanium reinforced cutting disc and a unique direct central feed system for maximum juice extraction.

Only Breville Juicers have NUTRI  DISC™M which
  • Extracts more juice.
  • Transfers less than 2.5˚C of heat
  • Retains up to 40% more nutrients.

It’s so easy to clean as well. As you can see, the different parts of the juicer are smooth, rounded and without food traps. This makes sure that no pulp would stick and make rinsing under the tap fast and simple. The easy clean models also come with a specially designed scrubbing brush to clean the filter mesh quickly and easily.

Since it’s the start of the year, I’m up to challenge myself in doing the 3-day Juice Fast next week. Yes, next week, because I still have to prepare myself..LOL!

Have you tried a juice fast? Is it hard?

  1. I’ve never done a juice fast but have heard about them. I’ll be interested to hear about your experiences! Good luck.

  2. Hi! We don’t have this brand but we have the Kojic Juicer which is very much similar in design. We bought it last year during a food expo here in Davao. Its really great! My dad loves this, he is diabetic and the results of juicing is just great for the health!! Its easy and you don’t have to peel!! We love our juice with cucumber or melon since it has a lot of water in it! Its great really!

  3. i’m also considering this juice diet…but first I need a new juicer preferably Breville:) Cheers to a healthy us:)

  4. I’m in my 16 days of fruit juice diet. But I love your juicer, big and easy to clean as you have said lately.

  5. i’ve read a lot of good things about juicing last year + wanted to try it this year. we plan to buy a juicer but this one is something i cannot, + won’t, afford! 🙂 it sure looks great + i am looking forward to reading all about the beautiful + delicious juicing posts you’ll create.

i just wonder, can you recommend an alternative for someone who wants to try juicing but do not have a juicer like this? 🙂

  6. Oh that is so nice. I have been wanting one in this brand, but maybe this year I can finally get me one. I miss juicing so much and it is always better than buying store bought juice, which I rarely do anymore. We used to have the Jack Lalane juicer, but that didn’t last. I used to save the pulp mommy Peach and mix it with muffins, breads, or whatever it is you bake or even soup. Some people would do juice fast in like a week, which I was going to do, but our juicer broke. Great gift for you.
