Z Cafe at Vivere Azure

These photos have been brewing in my hard drive for more than six months now. I’ve been meaning to share them with you but somehow I got lost with all  these great food which have been coming my way.

Honestly, I sort of, have already forgotten about these but the trip came across my mind while I was browsing over some groupon deals. I immediately looked for the folder containing our trip to Vivere Azure and when I saw the photos of the food that we had there, I knew I had to share it.

Vivere Azure is located at the heart of Anilao, Batangas which is the diving capital of the country. We went there for a staycation to celebrate sis’s birthday last June (yes, 2013. sorry, pardon the lateness) with her closest friends and of course me and the kids (Ykaie, Cyra, and Cyvrine). (Check out our room here)

Our staycation includes an overnight stay and full board meals.

Lunch at Z Cafe

We arrived there at around noon, just in time for lunch. After dropping our luggages in our room, we proceeded to Z Cafe, the resorts restaurant to have our first meal there.

We were given a menu so we can choose what to have for  lunch. There weren’t a lot of options but the list looked promising. We chose what we liked. Little did we know that it was going to be a 3-Course Meal. We were surprised when a roll and butter plus creamy pumpkin soup was served.

After that came a salad with fresh greens, mango, olives, corn, and caesar dressing….

One of sis’s friends, Amy, ordered these Grilled Prawns served with fries and buttered veggies. I love their food presentation and that these are served with a generous amount of lemon butter sauce.

My love for Beef Salpicao was what drove me to order it. I was curious about their version. It wasn’t what I expected but it was quite good. It has a lot of sauce and topped with chopped red onion. I still prefer mine to have lots of garlic, though. Nothing beats Salpicao with lots of garlic and glistens with beef oil.

It was a combination of Breaded Fish Fillet and Grilled Prawns for sis and Razziel, her other friend who’s with us. Like the Grilled Prawsn, this too was served with fries and buttered veggies, a generous amount of lemon butter, plus the fish fillet lies on top of a creamy sauce.

Ykaie, Cyra, and Cyvrine had Grilled Chicken, of course! LOL! These kids order chicken wherever they eat!

Swimming time followed after lunch. Vivere Azure has a small fabulous infinity pool that looks directly in the ocean!

We were in the swimming pool for hours! We played, took photos, and gossipped. I like hanging out with sis’s friends, they are real people and I admire how their friendship lasted from highschool.

Dinner Time!

The kids were so hungry after swimming. We went back to our room to take a bath and change our clothes and then back again at Z Cafe for dinner.

We were served Macaroni Salad with sliced apples…

I think this is Breaded Tuna (?) served with fried and buttered veggies. Sorry, this was from 6 months ago and I’ve forgotten some of the food we ordered..

The kids had Roasted Spring Chicken with rice and gravy.

Spaghetti Carbonara

Burger Steak served with rice, gravy, and buttered veggies

Then we had Mango Sago for dessert, which we had served in our room.

I had such a nice experience at Vivere Azure and I will be sharing what our room looked like at The Wandering Peach.
