I’ve always been a believer in the power of PLAY as one of the many factors that molds a child into the person he/she is going to be in the future. So when Johnson & Johnson Philippines invited us through Nuffnang for a fun-filled day at Active Fun in BGC and I told my daughter Ykaie, she got so excited. I always let her play at Active Fun in SM North EDSA and she loves it there! I know Ykaie will have the time of her life playing at Active Fun in BGC because it’s bigger — there’s plenty of space to move around.

We’ve also been an avid Johnson’s Baby Powder user ever since Ykaie was born. I always put Johnsons Baby Powder on her neck, chest and armpits after bath time. It keeps Ykaie fresh and smelling clean even after she’s gone outside to play. I also put some on her back to gently absorb sweat and perspiration and  help her skin feel dry and fresh even after she’s been running.

Last Saturday, Johnson & Johnson launched the Johnsons Play Factory. It aims to turn powder time into playtime for you and your kids. Mommies, you can now say goodbye to boring old powder time and hello to fun bonding time with your kids.

The Johnson’s Play Factory comes in four variants: Space Adventure, Guess the Drawing Game, Presko Dance, and the Fairy Dust. These will definitely tickle your child’s imagination and boost his/her creativity. You can opt to use colored papers, glues and cartons to turn the baby powder bottle into a rocket ship that flies to outer space. You can use the baby powder as fairy dusts and get the prettiest fairy wings (now this, Ykaie would enjoy). You can also use these as props as you groove to the latest dance craze!

Ykaie was able to get a cool toolbox toy which she can also use to turn powder time into playtime. It contains different tools like toy pliers and hammers, small cars, and a PLAY factory stamp.

After the presentation and some snacks, we went to Active Fun for a whole hour of pure play for Ykaie. Too bad I wasn’t able to join her because I forgot to bring a pair of socks…

So I just took a photo from the outside. It was such a fun, fun day for Ykaie. She couldn’t stop telling me about her new friends and the things she played with inside Active Fun.

Thank you so much Johnson & Johnson Philippines and Nuffnang!

  1. Johnsons baby powder was always a staple in our baby bag when my kiddo was little, and believe it or not, even in my mom’s baby bag when I was little. It’s been a part of our lives for the last 30 years, imagine? 🙂

  2. I don’t use powder on my minis because we have asthmatic genes in the family so I can’t relate. Hihi! I do use Johnson’s cologne on the kids, which I love to bits because they smell like babies even after running around. It looks like your little girl enjoyed the play factory!

  3. I have never used Johnson’s baby powder when i was a kid because i have asthma. but we used Johnson’s baby shampoo “with no tears” formula LOL! Our son and daughter are also asthmatic so no powders for them as well… but the tradition has been passed on.. “no-tears-formula” for ate and the “head-to-toe for babies” for the little one. ^_^

  4. I don’t use powder on my toddler son because he has a tendency to get asthma. But I did use Johnson’s Baby Powder on my girls when they younger. Even I used it when I was younger too. 🙂 Nice to know they have the Play Factory now. It makes for great bonding sessions with the kids.
