I am such a loser when it comes to trying out the new ice cream flavors that comes out in the market. Yeah, I’m prolly one of the last ones to know if a flavor is good or not. Sometimes, the day I look for the new flavor is the day after when it was taken out of the market. Thanks to friends from Nestle Ice Cream, I’m one of the firsts to try out Nestle Temptations Dutch Speculoos.
They sent me two tubs of this last week, Yaaaaayy!!!
This is actually my first time to try out a something from the Nestle Temptations Flavors of the World line too!
And it’s actually a flavor I’m too familiar with and crazy about.
You see, when the cookie butter craze broke out, I was one of those people who completely fell in love with Trader Joe’s Speculoos Crunchy Cookie Butter. I ordered jars of it and you’ll find me either spreading it on toast or licking it from a spoon any day. My sister, who is not a cookie butter fan, just stares at me in disbelief whenever she sees me holding the jar of cookie butter with a spoon. She would frequently roll her eyes after because somehow it kinda irks her that I’m eating it as a snack instead of using it as a spread.
Well, Nestle Temptations Dutch Speculoos ice cream changed all that and somehow made it “legit“. I can now eat tubs of speculoos with a spoon! Weeeeee!!
Are you tempted yet? If not, well let me just say that this Dutch Speculoos ice cream hits you right in the middle of your cookie butter spot. It is speculoos-flavored ice cream with of cookie butter ripple and speculoos cookie chunks that will surely satisfy your cookie butter cravings.
Now this got me into thinking I should try out all four flavors of the Nestle Temptation Flavors of the World.
