I wanted PIE to be the first three letters on our car’s plate number. Yeah, it’s true. It’s one of my favorite 3-letter-words.

Two weeks ago, I received some wonderful pies from one of Pies Inc. by Aileen.

Pies Inc. specializes in individual (approx 4.25″ in diameter) and 9″ sweet and savory pies. The pies are handcrafted by Ms. Aileen Tan, one of Manila’s talented home bakers.

Let me introduce you to some of her pies….

This is the Goddess Pie (₱600). Goddess Pie is aptly named because it is ambrosial!

Imagine biting into apple chunks drizzled with caramel sauce, topped with bacon granola and crowned with caramel meringue.

My pesto-loving daughter loved the Malunggay Pesto Pie (4″/₱120) which is made with malunggay pesto (olive oil), button mushroom slices, and cubed chicken pieces.

Roasted Tomato & Tuna/ Beef & Mushroom

While I prefer the Beef & Mushroom Pie (₱130) among all the savory pies because it’s rich and creamy. It is made with rib-eye beef strips, button mushroom, and mushroom & garlic -based cream sauce

Don’t fret if you’re on a diet, because you can still order something healthier like the Roasted Tomatoes & Tuna (₱100) – It is made with light and fresh ingredients such as oven-roasted tomatoes, Italian spices, fresh basil, black olives, spicy flaked tuna .

These individual pies for are great if you’re one of those people who would want to try many flavors or you can also give them as gifts.

If you have special requests, Pies Inc. can customize pie sizes and flavors according to your preference/s. Every menu item is produced by hand using the freshest ingredients available to ensure your eating satisfaction.

You should let them know of your order at least 1-2 days in advance.

For the 4″ pie, though, there’s a minimum order requirement of 6 pieces (assorted flavors are encouraged).
