Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Party

I heard that  this week is the season premiere of The Walking Dead. I haven’t seen it yet because I’m too busy this week — AAARRRGGHH!! I hope we can watch it over the weekend, though. However since zombies, zombies and more zombies are back in season let me share with you our Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Party last year. Who knows, maybe you’ll want a Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Party for your family this year. This will absolutely give you lots of ideas on Zombie Food, Zombie Props, Zombie Costume, and Zombie Make-Up.

These Marshmallow Zombies are made from chocolate-flavored marshmallows that are really brown in color. You just need some melted chocolate and candy eyes in order for you to make this. The kids loved this and I find it really cute……………. in the creepy kind of way.

These Forked Eyeballs are Oreo Truffles with gummy peach, apple rings, and chocolate chips in the center to mimic real eyeballs.

These Zombie Jerky are ready-made beef jerky bought from the mall and then re-packaged to a smaller single-serve bags. This is more of an adult food.

Zombie Graveyard Cake ~ the zombies topping this cake are cupcake toppers which can be bought online or at the mall. The tombstones are cookies painted with melted chocolate.

These Zombie Cookies are sugar cookies made to look like zombies…

Jell-O Brain

This is lime-flavored Jell-O in the shape of a brain.

Everybody Every Zombie loved the Candied Flesh which is none other than candied bacon!! It looks like it was candied flesh, doesn’t it?

Fresh Zombie Meat is Steak bites in marinara sauce

Severed Toes are sausages and quesadilla (Recipe here:Severed Fingers) and Severed Fingers are chocolate-covered pretzels with almond slivers.

We also had gummy eyeballs and gummy rats…

Game Prizes

Like any other parties, we also had some games and the winners received these cool game prizes!

Yes, this is me and Ykaie. We were Zombies fro a day…… “brains….brains….

I think we look pretty convincing as a mother-daughter zombie tandem..LOL!

Ykaie is a princess zombie… She still wants to be a princess even when in zombie mode…hahahaa

Og course, we just had to chase A human — even under the hot sun! In this case, my cousin ate Thess who didn’t put on all the gory stuff. Check out our photo story below.
