With Summer approaching and this bothersome heat, I am instantly filled with the thoughts of some of our Lugang Cafe favorites. Lugang Cafe has been a favorite whenever we are at SM MOA. Their meals have big servings, the staff are friendly and attentive, and of course, the food is always delicious.
However there are times when we go there not to have a big meal but just have one of their Iced Snacks to get us through the day. One of our favorites, specially on a hot day is the Fresh Fruits on Milk-flavored Shaved Ice. It’s different kinds of fresh fruits topped on a bed of milky shaved ice.
Another is the Red Beans, Candied Pineapple and Condensed Milk on Shaved Ice. It’s gigantic and good enough to be shared by four to five persons. The combination of red bean and candied pineapple is perfect!
We may be in there for the Iced Snacks but there are times when we order one of our favorite viands too like the Three Cup Chicken which is my favorite. Yes, you may find it weird, but we eat it as it is paired with the Iced Snacks.
Ykaie likes it with the soft Mantou, though.
Waahh, I want to eat something cold and icy.

This post made my mouth water.. But name of the resto made me think of something gross.. hehe.. Their food obviously is far from gross.. Will definitely check it out.

Milk flavored shaved ice? I have never heard of anything like that, but now that you said it, I NEED to try it.

That fruit shaved ice sounds so refreshing and delicious! I wonder…how can one make shaved ice at home (without a machine, that is!)?

It’s the Xiao Long Bao for me hands down. I super love it there. It is HEAVEN.
This all look and sounds amazing. I am intrigued by the red beans with candied pineapple. I do love the combination of coconut and fruit. Super yummy.
