Unlike the previous years, our Christmas Family Reunion is a lot different this year. It’s a lot smaller, more intimate. There’s father and my mother. There’s my brother, his wife, and their children. My sister, my cousin Rome, and our small family of four: peanutbutter♥, Ykaie, Twinkle, and of course, me.
Christmas is that one time of the year where everyone gathers around and celebrate. But there had been some sort of misunderstanding late this year among my relatives so the grand Christmas Family reunion which we have annually didn’t push through. So come December 25th, my siblings and my cousin Rome gathered at my parents house to celebrate Christmas.
To make it more special, I made Shrimp Macaroni Salad with Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise which I put in a bowl in the shape of Santa’s face.
We had a festive Christmas table with Chocolate Cake, Steak Fried Rice, Baby Back Ribs, Pork Barbecue, Fruit Salad, and of course, my Lady’s Choice Shrimp macaroni Salad.
The kids loved that the Macaroni Salad this year looked like Santa Claus!!
My father usually plays the Santa Claus in our family. It’s sad that he got really sick late this year..
… but he still did great as Santa! He distributed all the gifts to his beloved grandchildren.
Another great thing is that we have our little miss Santa Clause celebrating her first Christmas.
It was indeed a happy Christmas Family Reunion so full of love and memories I’ll cherish forever.
