Pumpkin Pie Spiced Latté

Oh my gosh, life has been so busy these past few days… I had to stop and smell the roses..

Too bad I don’t have roses and so I pulled up this small jar of Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice, put in in my coffee and did lots and lots of inhaling..

It is November, ladies and gents! It’s time for Pumpkin Pie Spiced Latté!

Look at how time flies, pretty soon we’ll be wrapping presents and decorating our Christmas Trees.

Oh gosh, I hope we have a Christmas Tree this year, cause last year we kinda shared Christmas Tree with my aunt…

..and I feel that sharing Christmas Trees is like sharing a toothbrush, you don’t really do them.

It’s either you have a tree or you don’t…

I have my eyes set on a yummy White Christmas Tree…

I can see it already has my name on it….

Pumpkin Pie Spiced Latté

Why not try a cup of this instead of your usual cup of coffee this season? It’s flavorful, indulgent and aromatic, perfect for chilly nights.

Pumpkin Pie Spiced Latte

Ingredients:

1 cup espresso or very strong coffee, I used 3 tbsp ground coffee + 1 cup water brewed in a  stovetop coffeemaker
1 cup whole milk or half and half
1 tbsp homemade pumpkin puree
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp sugar
whipped cream

Directions:

  • Heat the milk, pumpkin, sugar, and spices over medium heat for a few minutes until the milk is simmering.
  • Pour into mugs with hot coffee and stir.
  • Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with some more pumpkin pie spice.

note: Make sure you have a spoon handy as you need to give this coffee a stir from time to time. The spices and pumpkin settles in at the bottom.

It is also a perfect companion while reading a book, drowning in thoughts and of course, having coffee with a special someone.
