We’re halfway through January, how are you with your goals this year? I’m sure you’ve written your New Year’s resolution and your One-Word for the year. Mine includes healthier meals for the family and keeping a tab on our budget so we can put more into our savings.

I guess that’s really one of the challenges for us mommies specially if we, too, are working. Life can become hectic and busy that there are days when we don’t have time to plan for our meals, go to the market, and cook for our family. We opt for the easy solution — eat out. The problem with eating out is that we go over-budget and since there’s limited choices, we often choose food which are a bit unhealthy.

I have great news for you, though. Tokyo Tokyo just came up with two new flavors to its donburi line. These new donburi bowls are so packed with flavors! But what makes me happy is that it supports our family’s New Year’s resolution.

Now, we can eat out and indulge our Japanese cravings because you can get each bowl for only ₱99!

The Cheesy Pork Katsu Donburi is a surprising twist and creative variation featuring Tokyo Tokyo’s signature Pork Tonkatsu made tastier with the irresistible combination of creamy white sauce, cheese, and nori wasabi sprinkle on a bed of steaming hot rice.

It’s so creamy and delicious — definitely an indulgence for ₱99.

For those who are looking for healthier meals, opt for the Tofu Steak Donburi which features silky Japanese tofu coated with tempura batter topped with savory pork and mushroom sauce, crunchy tempura crumbs, and onion leeks on top of steaming hot rice.

You won’t be missing all those meat with this one and you can just hope there’s more tofu!

If you have an extra budget though, you can just add ₱55 and you can have a glass of Red Iced Tea and 4-pieces California Maki!

Now there are two reasons why your next meal should be at Tokyo Tokyo.
