Chili Garlic Prawns

Chili Garlic Prawns

Last New Year, the price of prawns, as expected, is super high. I got this 1 kilo of prawns for ₱1,500 pesos which is about 11or 12 pieces. However, shrimp is a savory symbol of good fortune. Eating shrimp is said to bring you happiness into your new year. The idea of good fortune is that of overall success and prosperity. It means more than just wealth, but also joy, health, laughter, success, and betterment. That is why we decided to add a prawn dish to our Media Noche last NYE.

This Chilli Garlic Prawns recipe that I got here is to die for. Siguradong sisimutin mo lahat ng sauce from your plate at isasabaw mo sa rice ng bongga! But it’s so easy to prepare din.

I’m leaving you with the recipe below. You can also use this recipe for shrimp.

Whether it’s the new year or not, this is one of the best ulam evurrr and I’m sure your family will love it.
