Pimp Your Instant Noodles: KOKA Laksa Singapura

KOKA Laksa Singapura

We are big Laksa fans out here. It’s one of our orders whenever we go out to eat at an Asian restaurant. Sometimes I cook Laksa at home as well, kapag nakakapamili ng ingredients. But when sudden craving hits — it becomes a hassle if you don’t have the ingredients readily available at home. Ordering is a bit expensive and you still have to wait for it to arrive. Good thing I discovered Koka Laksa Singapura and I now make sure I have a stock of it at home.

It’s an instant noodles but has a great Laksa flavor.

Remember when I pimped my instant ramen? Well, that’s what I did with this as well.

To “pimp” up this Koka Laksa Singapura, I just added some fresh ingredients: shrimp, hardboiled egg, fried tofu, and beansprouts or togue. Gave this a stir and the first slurp was yum! It has the right amount of spicy kick, right amount of saltiness and a whole lot of Laksa flavor.

You can also add other ingredients like cheese balls or lobster balls — you know, the kind that you use for hotpot OR bokchoy, leeks, and other vegetables you have available in the fridge.

It’s been an exhausting week! Thursday pa lang pero ang pagod ko pang next week na… LOL!

And this? This was comfort food.
