Lunch at Mango Tree Bistro

nanay {mom}, aunt, ykaie and my sister who never shows herself on camera,
that’s me and ykaie in the photo above

We found the food to be delicious here when we celebrated Ykaie’s 3rd birthday. So when my aunt craved for Thai food and said that she will be treating us for lunch, we brought her to MTB.

Fried Chicken and Sticky Rice

This is just an appetizer, I bet that’s why the serving is small but it served as ykaie’s main meal. She loved the sticky rice and we had to order another cup.

Spicy Spaghetti with Seafood and Basil
Everyone loved it specially my nanay {mom}.
Beef Satay {P250/$5.80}
Super tender beef with peanut sauce and sweet vinegar sauce. I prefer the vinegar sauce rather than the peanut sauce.
Pad Thai
Lovely presentation of this popular Thai noodle but I like Jatujak’s Pad Thai. It is tastier and more flavorful.
 The noodles seasonings are served separately: chili flakes, fish sauce, vinegar and sugar
For dessert, I forgot the name of this warm dessert soup that we ordered but it has glutinous rice balls and coconut milk. Love it!
Sticky Rice with Mango
Of course, we ordered everybody’s favorite thai dessert! I forgot to take note of the price and the Thai name of the food because I was already tired. The bill was around P1600 {$38}.
