Army Navy Welcomes The Year with Nachos and Bacon Breakfast!

Come in hungry, walk out happy.” That has been Army Navy’s mantra ever since it opened and nobody has been so serious about it that them. They want every customer who comes in their restaurant to come out fully satisfied and with every intention of coming back for more. That is why they make sure to give excellent customer service, comfortable and cool military-inspired interiors, and of course, fantastic food!

Last week, I was able to give Army Navy a visit to try the latest addition to their already beefed up menu.

Amy Navy already serves a line of delectable Mexican dishes, their Nachos (₱95) is only the cherry on top of their ice cream with a hearty mix of tortilla chips, cheese, salsa, and jalapeno peppers. This is perfect accompaniment to , say, a burrito or a Querida Mia or also perfect when eaten on it’s own. Just pair it up with a large Libertea Iced Tea!

You know Army Navy is in tune with what we are looking for and what we can’t get enough of — bacon (and rice!)! That’s why they added this Bacon Breakfast (₱140) to their breakfast line. It is composed of bacon, egg, garlic rice, and their very own longganisa. This will surely wake you up each morning… or afternoon, depending on when you’re having it as it is available all day.

Aside from these new food items, we were also able to try what Army Navy is famous for — their burgers and their  appetizing arsenal of Mexican items!

The Charlie Bravo Querida Mia (₱195) is Army Navy’s version of pizza. It’s an open-faced quesadilla topped with lots of cheese and bacon. You can also get  a Querida Mia in other variants such as Plain, Baja, and Baja Chicken.

If you’re feeling like going vegetarian for the day, You can opt for the Querida Mia Verde (₱215), a rolled Querida Mia filled with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, green bell pepper, onions, jalapeño, tomatoes, lettuce, cilantro, guacamole, and sour cream.

Their Freedom Fries (₱75) is just the perfect side dish. Those crispy thin-cut zesty fries is sooo good when dipped with their special sauce!

I ordered the Steak Burrito (₱195) because I was craving for beef that day and of course, I got just what I need! Their steak burrito is filled with chunks of steaks, spanish rice, frijoles, onions, lettuce and cilantro. It is served with a slice of lime, salsa, and their special sauce on the side.

peanutbutter was brave enough to order the Bully Boy Burger (₱265)! This big bully is made up of three all-beef patties which is a quarter pound each, then topped with lettuce, onions, mayo and ketchup.

Yup, he looks happy and satisfied but he had a hard time biting it…..LOL!

I remember this Starving Sailor Steak Sandwich (₱240) being one of my orders the first time I tried Army Navy back in 2011. It’s a big 8-inch sourdough bread sandwich stuffed with steak, jalapeño-cheese  spread, green bell pepper, and caramelized onions.

Our meal was capped off with the Blueberry Freedom Toast ala Mode (₱99) which I remember to have the most delicious brioche EVER!

It was such a fun night at Army Navy with my fellow bloggers!
