Because large guavas are simply irresistible…

Because I love fruit…

And because I love bagoong…

This covers my morning snack.

To my non-Filipino friends, Bagoong is shrimp paste. A sweet, salty, garlicky, and pungent condiment made of fermented shrimps that usually serves as a dip to green mango slices, jicama slices, and Kare-Kare, a stew made with a variety of vegetables, stewed oxtail, beef, offal and tripe thickened and flavored by peanut sauce.

It is sooo good! I wish I can share this across the computer screen with you!
